Members and their guests are required to sign the waivers before entering the track. Guests must register at the gate or registration building. Members with hard cards can present them at the gate for admission. Minors are required to have a completed parental consent waiver and be accompanied by an adult before entering the track.
Schedules for the day will be available at registration. Garage assignments will also be at registration.
Paddock speed limit is 10 miles per hour. Scooters, bikes, golf carts, ATV’s, etc are allowed in the paddock. Their use is restricted to the paddock area and connecting roads. They are not permitted on track or in any “hot” areas of the track. Drivers must be 16 years or older.
Please be considerate of our pavement in the paddock. Please do not drive stakes or anchors into any pavement. Jack stands on pavement should have wood or metal plates placed under them before use. Report any spills to track personnel immediately.
Disposal containers are located in the paddock for used fluids. Please use them only for the marked fluids. Be sure to take all used tires, batteries and unwanted parts with you when you leave.
The track sound limit is 105 decibels, measured 50 feet from the track and will be enforced.
We will have a mandatory drivers meeting on the morning of the event. Any schedule changes will be discussed there.
We will group vehicles by type and driving experience. We will make every effort to assign you to a group where you will be comfortable. Please check the session groupings when you check in at registration. They will also be posted in the tech area and/or outside of the control tower. Remember that all groupings are subject to change.
- DRIVER /RIDER ELIGIBILITY
Note: Rider is in reference to motorcycles and not passengers in cars.
All drivers/riders are required to present a valid driver’s license. Members in good standing may drive/ride on the track, provided that they have one of the following:
A current competition license from a recognized road racing sanctioning body.
A recent certificate of completion from a professional driving/riding school.
Proof of completion of at least 3 recognized performance driver/rider education events.
Member’s guests that desire to drive/ride on the course must meet the same requirements as the member. Guests wishing to drive their own cars/bikes will have to have a technical inspection performed. Member must be present in order for his or her guest to be able to drive/ride. Members are responsible for any fees incurred by their guests. The number of guest drivers/riders and sessions is limited by membership level. Guest must complete a guest driver/rider registration form each time they come out. This form requires the member’s signature.
We recommend that a current medical profile be on file for each driver/ rider.
Safety is our number one priority. Passing Signals and Passing Zones will be strictly enforced. Our Event Coordinator will talk with any driver who spins twice, repeatedly overshoots the turns, or exhibits any other dangerous behavior. You may be asked to leave the event if the Event Coordinator feels that your actions compromise the safety of the event.
Check your tires and brakes after each session. Check your oil level each day. Check your lug nuts periodically. Listen for any strange or new sounds that your car may develop and inspect to see what the problem is before returning to the track.
Always be aware of what is happening around you. Be aware of the traffic ahead of you, the traffic behind you, and the corner workers at the corner stations.
- TECH INSPECTION
Participating cars must be inspected prior to going onto the track.
Member vehicles/motorcycles with annual tech stickers need only go thru the pre track safety check before being allowed on track.
Participants with race cars with current log books need only complete the Logbook portion of the Tech Inspection form and sign. Bring your logbook, helmet, and car to the tech shed for verification and safety check.
All other cars/motorcycles must receive a tech inspection from PMC personnel before entering the track. An Inspection Form completed by a service facility or by the owner must be presented at tech inspection. Floor mats and other loose items must be removed from the passenger compartment and trunk. It is the driver’s responsibility to insure that every component of the car is in safe working condition. PMC personnel may require additional inspections as deemed necessary for the enjoyment and safety of others.

All open cars must have a roll bar and conform to the following unless a hardtop is installed:
Porsche Boxsters and Cabriolets, Honda S2000, BMW Z3 & 4, and other similarly equipped cars, are satisfactory as configured from the factory with factory installed roll and/or pop up bars.
For all other open cars, the roll bar must meet SCCA or PCA Club Race specs for materials, design, installation and height.
Roll bar must be padded in an area that may come in contact with the occupants (driver and passenger) helmet or other part of the body.
Targa type cars do not require an additional roll bar, but must run with the top in place.
Drivers are required to have a Snell SA2000 or newer (M2000 or newer for motorcycles, solo or driver/rider evaluation). Your helmet will be inspected during Tech and must meet these requirements. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Drivers are required to wear long sleeved shirts and long pants of natural fiber (cotton or wool). Synthetics are not allowed. Cotton socks and tennis shoes or leather shoes with leather soles are required- Approved driving/riding suits, shoes and gloves are acceptable and recommended. Full competition suits and equipment are required for competition cars.
Riders are required to wear approved helmets, leathers (one piece are recommended, two piece are allowed but they must zip together), track gloves, track boots and back protectors.
Although not mandatory for street cars, a multi-point safety harness is strongly recommended in all vehicles.
A fire extinguisher, securely mounted, is also recommended in all vehicles.
- PASSING RULES
PASSING IS ALLOWED IN DESIGNATED AREAS AND WITH PROPER SIGNALS ONLY. DO NOT PASS UNLESS THE CAR BEING OVERTAKEN SIGNALS YOU TO PASS. In the “Solo” group, passing is only done on the right, that is, the passing car passes to the RIGHT SIDE of the car being passed. In the “Super Solo” group passing is allowed on any straight on either side of the car with a signal. “Race” group passing is allowed anywhere on track with a signal as long as the pass can be executed safely. The passing signal should be an exaggerated motion by the driver. All passes must be completed prior to turn in at the next corner. Maintain your speed or lift slightly to allow the passing car to safely complete the pass. Always be aware of traffic behind you as well as traffic in front of you. Remember, you can always enter the Pits and rejoin at a less crowded portion of the track.
- OFF-COURSE EXCURSIONS/SPINS:
In the event it becomes apparent you are about to go off the track, it is better to drive off in a straight line under control rather than try to save it. Regain control, then drive cautiously back on to the track. If visibility is impaired, wait until conditions improve.
Two wheels off- slow until you gain control, and then cautiously return to the track surface. Forcing the vehicle back on to the track at speed could result in loss of control and possibly spinning into oncoming traffic.
Four wheels off- same as above, except that the driver is required to return to the hot pits for a vehicle inspection. Upon completion of inspection, you may return to the track.
Loss of control causing a spin on the track surface- If/when you do lose control of your car in a spin, the best rule is both feet in. This means brake and clutch fully depressed until you come to a stop. You may flat spot a tire, but you stand a much less chance of damaging your car. You must come into the Pits to have your car checked by the Pit Worker after a spin, or off course excursion.
If your vehicle becomes disabled, pull off the track in a safe spot, preferably in sight of a corner worker. REMAIN INSIDE YOUR VEHICLE, WITH YOUR BELTS ON. The only reason you should get out or off your vehicle is if it is on FIRE!
Two off-course excursions and/or spins on the track, in any session, will be cause for you being black flagged. Return to the hot pit and speak to the event coordinator. Three spins means the end of your session. Continued loss of control or aggressive driving will not be tolerated and could be cause for loss of driving privileges for the remainder of the day!
- DAMAGE TO RACE TRACK PROPERTY:
Any damage incurred to race track property, and/or supplies used, will be the responsibility of the member.
