She can deadlift 135 pounds, squat 100 pounds and bench 65 pounds. Oh, and she’s only 9 years old.
Fourth grader Damiyah Smith broke three records in her age and weight (70 pounds) categories at the Junior Olympics. Pics or it didn’t happen? Here’s video.
She started out doing push-ups and pull-ups, and then started walking on her hands. She has been lifting weights with her father, Jason, since she was 4 years old. They live in Commerce, Oklahoma, and she will compete in the AAU World Championships in Las Vegas on Sept. 25.
Meanwhile, other 9-year-olds are learning multiplication and division.
